Required Materials:

  • 20 gauge sterling sheet
  • 12 gauge sterling square wire
  • 12 gauge sterling round wire
  • 14 gauge sterling round wire
  • 18 gauge sterling round wire (for bail ring)
  • 26 gauge 3/16" sterling bezel wire
  • 26 gauge 14K gold sheet
  • 14K gold scrap (for accent beads)
  • Hard sterling sheet solder
  • Easy sterling wire solder
  • 1/2" x 1.5" free-form cut charoite
  • 5/8" x 5/8" triangular cut drusy
  • rainbow pyrite
  • 10mm round cabochon mauve star corundum
  • 10 x 8 faceted oval citrine
  • 5mm faceted round amethyst

LAYOUT: Sharpie, pencil, paper, ruler
SOLDERING: Acetylene tank and torch, fire brick, paste flux, quench pot, pickle acid and pickle pot
HAND: Rawhide mallet or metal hammers, anvil or bench pin, flex shaft or Dremel, small round bur, jeweler's saw with 4/0 blades, metal snips, assorted files, pliers, tweezers and bezel pushing tools
FINISHING: Wet/dry sandpaper: 320, 400, 600 and 1500 grits, buffing wheels, Tripoli and Zam polishing compounds, dish soap, soft toothbrush, clear enamel, small paint brush
