Love the magazine. Love reading the digital version on the iPad. Would love a subscription to future digital (and more frequent) issues!

What a great new magazine! I only read it last night and already have four projects on the go! The magazine is organised into great topics; bindings, covers, pages and journalling and is also full of great galleries of work - eye candy. Only problem is I want more!

This was such a serendipitous find! Whether you are making your own journal, putting a commercial one back together, or just wondering what all the fuss is about, this magazine is not only rich in imagery, but has clear instructions on how to make many different books and bindings, and how to tackle the dreaded white pages. There are also many examples of other people's work to amply demonstrate that there is no right or wrong way to do it, though keeping to a few simple techniques does help, and those techniques are well explained. I have read it through cover to cover, twice, and now plan on using one of these projects to rebind a journal I dismantled to paint the pages, and of course will not fit back the way it was or the size it was, and I am so spoiled for choice. There are several appropriate ways to do it, and I may have to dismantle a few more books, just to try the projects I don't use this time! And then there are the books to make from scratch, or recycle - you get the idea? This came out just when I needed it; its a good thing its digital, not a hard copy, because I'm sure I would wear out the magazine paper in very short time!
