AWESOME! Review by Halimah Chambers

This is my first Interweave video & I LOVE it! SO many great ideas & techniques, that I will be watching this again and again. Julie has a lovely teaching style; I feel like she's at the kitchen table with me showing me how easy art can be. For beginners, she takes away any trepidation or fear of doing it wrong. For already-artists, like me, there are loads of great ideas. There's really something in here for everyone, young & old, experienced or not. As for a couple reviews saying the video is "unprofessional," it's well lit, shot from different angles, doesn't go too fast (but doesn't drag on, either), is easy to follow. Julie's delightful personality is part of the package, which means that her sense of humour shines throughout her instruction. This is a WONDERFUL addition to any artist's instruction library. She inspires me to pick up my brush--or pen or toilet paper tube (!) and get started creating. THANKS, Julie for an AWESOME video. Looking FW to more! :-)

Collage Fast & Furious Review by Patricia Reinhart

I ordered this dvd based on customer reviews and I was not disappointed! The information was delivered in such a clear, concise and entertaining way, it made you want to watch more. She presented basic info and instruction for beginners, but always offered additional ideas and options to her more experienced viewers. The only negative I could find was that the dvd was simply not long enough...I could have watched for three more hours! A wonderful purchase.

This is by far the best DVD I have ever bought. Julie's presentation style is fun and very straight forward. I love this DVD. Each time I've seen Julie on TV she makes everything seem do-able. Please, please, please ask her to make more DVD's. She is witty, funny and very easy to follow.

Great Instruction Review by Elise Buskey

I am not a beginner and I did find a few tips that have really opened some possibilities for my collage. I particularly liked that the instructor explained the properties of as well as some uses for her favorite textile media. I like her drop cloth idea...I am now doing that myself. And I like what she did with transparencies. She is very upbeat and enthusiastic...make sure that you can handle fast movement and high energy before purchasing. I also want to note that the film crew did something that I would like to see more often...they gave us students some camera shots from the instructor's perspective quite often. I sometimes have a hard time when the camera is facing the can be awkward...I appreciate the extra professionalism presented here by the camera crew.

Great ideas, wonderfully inspiring, superb guidance on materials! I really enjoyed seeing the progress of a project from start to finish, including information on drying times, etc. between the phases. Balzer's enthusiasm and energy make me want to get busy! Very user-friendly, casual, beautiful and colorful projects.

I was disappointed at the quality of this video. It wasn''t very professional and was s-l-o-w. I think it could have been more upbeat and fun.

Collage Fast and Furious Review by Belle Smith

Totally unprofessional. Especially the part where she states, "I hate my boss" and the adds "I am my own boss"..not worth the money...
