— ½ yd (46 cm) each of 2 different colors of 45" (114.5 cm) wide linen for towel tops (shown: natural and brown)
— 8 solid cotton scraps, each at least 10" × 10" (25.5 × 25.5 cm) for towel base (shown: white, pale yellow, green, aqua, yellow, cream, light blue, and light brown)
— ¼ yd (23 cm) each of 2 different 45" (114.5 cm) wide print cottons for piecing strips (shown: black and red “kitchen measurement conversions" print)
—1⁄8 yd (11.5 cm) each of 2 different 45" (114.5 cm) wide print cottons for ruffles (shown: gray and yellow polka-dot)
— Assorted scraps of print and solid cotton for appliqué (refer to templates for necessary sizes)
