Description

The cowslip is a favorite flower of the fairies, prized for its magical properties. This skirt also calls forth beautiful shells found unexpectedly along the beach on a summer’s day, with its nautilus spiral echoing the natural unfolding of magic in our lives. A truly special skirt indeed!

Finished Size 36 (41, 46 1⁄2, 51 1⁄2, 57)" hip circumference and 24" in length. Skirt shown measure 36", modeled with 0" ease.
Yarn Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend (70% wool, 30% silk; 150 yd [135 m]/1 3⁄4 oz [50 g]): #3068 citric, 5 (6, 6, 7, 7) skeins. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.
Yarn Weight #3 - Light
Hook Size H/8 (5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Stitch markers (m); yarn needle.
Gauge 16 fsc = 4"; 4 sh-1 and 6 rows = 4".
