Description

Designed to be gorgeous in handpainted or solid yarn, this top-down sock design breaks up pooling with a twisted-stitch pattern and a hint of lace.

Finished Size: 6¼ (7, 8, 9)" (16 [18, 20.5, 23] cm) foot circumference, unstretched, to fit women’s U.S. shoe sizes 7 (8½, 9½, 11). Foot length is adjustable for all sizes. Socks shown measure 7" (8 cm) circumference. 
Yarn: Cascade Heritage (75% superwash merino, 25% nylon; 437 yd [400 m]/100 g): #5608 dark green, 1 (1, 1, 2) skein(s) or Cascade Heritage Paints (75% superwash merino, 25% nylon; 437 yd [400 m]/100 g): #9826 variegated green/red/blue, 1 (1, 1, 2) skein(s). 
Yarn Weight: #1 - Super Fine 
Needles: Size 0 (2 mm): set of 4 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. 
Notions: Marker (m); tapestry needle. 
Gauge: 38 sts and 54 rnds = 4" (10 cm) in patt st; 34 sts and 54 rnds = 4" (10 cm) in St st.
