Fabric Requirements:

Note: All fabric is 44" (112 cm)wide cotton. Kona Cotton Solids by Robert Kaufman were used here. Use similar fabrics to those listed or use desired colors/prints. The fi rst three listings should be different hues of the same color; the last two listings should be two contrasting colors.

58 yd (57 cm) of a light-hue solid (A; shown: light purple [thistle])

— 1 yd (91.5 cm) of a medium-hue solid (B; shown: medium purple [Crocus])

— 7 1/4 yd (6.6 m) of a dark-hue solid (C; 2 yd [1.8 m] used for blocks and binding; 5 1/4 yd [4.8 m] used for backing; shown: dark purple [Hibiscus])

18 yd (11.5 cm) of a contrast solid (D; shown: red [Rich Red])

— 3 yd (2.7 m) of another contrast solid (e; shown: gray [Ash])
