Description
A dramatic circle-shaped skirt created with needle size changes, decreases, and mirrored pleats turns into a cabled bodice and open back in the Dawn Dress. A hemp-blend yarn keeps the cabled details crisp and the fabric floaty and cool.
Details
Finished Size: 30½ (36, 39¾ , 44¾ , 48¾ , 53½ , 57½ )" circumference under bust. Dress shown measures 36", modeled with 2–4" of ease.
Yarn:
Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy (41% cotton, 34% hemp, 25% modal; 154 yd [141 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #04 white beach, 15 (18, 21, 22, 25, 28, 30) balls. Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever.
Yarn Weight:
#3 - Light
Needles:
Size 5 (3.75 mm): 60" circular (cir). Size 4 (3.5 mm): 40" cir. Size 3 (3.25 mm): 24"–32" cir and 2 doublepointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions:
Markers (m); removable markers; cable needle (cn); tapestry needle; size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook.
Gauge:
21 sts and 36 rnds = 4" in St st on largest needles.
