Long columns of dropped stitches give soft delineation to the fronts and cuffs of a simple sweater, while a sharply shaped triangle of dropped stitch ladders adds raw, deconstructed edge to its back.
Finished Size: About 30 (34, 38, 44, 47)" bust circumference. Cardigan shown measures 34", modeled with minimal ease.
Yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh Sock (100% superwash merino wool; 395 yd [361 m]/3 1/2 oz [100 g]): winter wheat, 3 (4, 5, 6, 7) skeins.
Yarn Weight: #2 - Fine
Needles: Size 3 (3.25 mm): 40" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; cotton waste yarn; tapestry needle; size D/3 (3.25 mm) crochet hook.
Gauge: 26 sts and 31 rows = 4" in St st.
