Now you can cozy up a bench for your living space by adding this patchwork cover. Lindsay wanted a bench for her living room, but couldn't find one that matched her décor. This project is quick, easy and a great way to add a little fabric flair to any room. Materials For 1 bench Note: The measurements and materials for this project are based on the side tables I used. Please adjust your measurements accordingly. 2 sturdy, identical coffee tables with legs that are easy to remove (I used the LACK side tables from IKEA.) 8 mending braces, size 31/2" 16 screws, size 1?16 " Drill and bit to fit screws Thick batting, enough to cover and wrap around to the back of your bench surface 8 coordinating fat quarters Sewing machine Staple gun and staples, upholstery grade Scissors This pattern was originally published in Modern Patchwork Spring 2013
