Cassie designed the Emmylou Shawl using the fundamentals behind sewn ruffle construction. The initially large cast-on may seem a little daunting, but the stitches decrease quickly, creating a drapey ruffle that will elegantly decorate your shoulders.
Finished Size: 68" wide and 14½" deep at center point, after blocking
Yarn: Madelinetosh Pashmina (75% merino, 15% silk, 10% cashmere; 360 yd [329 m]/100 g): lapis, 3 skeins
Yarn Weight: #3 - Light
Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm): 40" circular (cir) needle, Size 4 (3.5 mm): 40" cir needle, Cable needle (cn)
Notions: Tapestry needle
Gauge: 21 sts and 34 rows = 4" in St st on larger needles
