Description
The beautiful combination of rich autumn hues in this patterned yoke is the result of many experiments with different yarns, gauges, and colors. Michele Rose Orne designed a classic round-yoke pullover with updated styling. She omitted the traditional ribbed hem, cropped the body, and opened the neckline for a more current silhouette. The patterns on the yoke are echoed on the slim sleeves - all the way to the elbow. A soft alpaca yarn gives the sweater a slightly fuzzy halo and helps blend the stitches that form the color-work sections.

Equinox Pullover: A creative exercise in colourwork Review by Christine Krahn

I recently finished knitting the pullover, and had very favourable results. I used Knitpicks yarn Andean Treasure, and after some experimentation came up with colour combinations that I liked. I found the pattern was easy to follow and that the measurements specified in the pattern were accurate. I am fussy about fit, and I found the finished garment fit well.
