Description

Designed for handpainted or solid yarns, this toe-up sock pattern features a flap heel and mirrored design with wrapped stitches to avoid color pooling.


Details
Finished Size: Size 7½ (9, 10½)" (19 [23, 26.5] cm) foot and leg circumference. Socks shown in middle size. Foot length is adjustable. 
Yarn: Fingering weight (Super fine #1). Shown here: Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock (80% superwash wool, 20% nylon; 435 yd [400 m]/100 g): Roadside Gerry (variegated) or harvest (semi-solid), 1 skein. 
Yarn Weight: #1 - Super Fine 
Needles: Size 1 (2.25 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. 
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle. 
Gauge: 32 sts and 48 rnds = 4" (10 cm) in St st.
