You will get full instructions for 10 rug weaving projects:

  • Checkerboard Twill rug
  • Rainbow Rugs which offers great advice for weaving stripes
  • A rug in warp rep with instruction on getting started with warp rep
  • Overshot for rugs

Plus, there is a weft rep table runner project as well! But the instruction doesn’t stop there. Tom offers great advice for making a simple shaft switching device. It’s an ingenious device that can give you limitless possibilities when working with weaving designs.

Not as described Review by Barbara

I love everything Tom Knisely and in fact already have the Weave a good rug video download so only bought this because it had the shaft switching device instructions. Unfortunately it does not!

I have written 3 emails asking if Interweave can help and have not had a reply. Disappointing!

Warning! Review by Gweaver

Lots of useful things in this ebook but if you are looking for the shaft-switching instructions, maybe it's me but I certainly couldn't find them; however by the time I found that out I had of course bought the ebook!
What you need is Handwoven November/December 2001, Tom Knisely's very clear "Making a Simple Shaft-Switching Device" are on pages 73-74.
