Description

The empire waist of this youthful dress is comfortable and flattering. The mitered, rectangular skirt is a bit avante garde. Fun and flirty, this dress is well suited for a variety of figure types.

Details
Finished Size: 34 (36, 38, 40, 42 1/2, 44 1/2)" bust circumference, 172 (176, 180, 184, 188, 192)" around hem, and skirt is 25" long. Bodice is close fitting with 0" of ease.
Yarn: Lily Chin Signature Collection Chelsea (35% acrylic, 35% cotton, 30% merino; 191 yd [175 m]/13/4 oz [50 g]): # 5803 light pink, 10 (11, 12, 13, 15, 16) skeins. Yarn distributed by CNS Yarns.
Yarn weight: #3 - Light.
Gauge: 22 sts and 15 rows = 4" in esc with smallest hook. This is a hung gauge-swatch is blocked and hung vertically. One V-st = 1" and 6 V-st rows = 4" with largest hook.
Hook: Sizes C/2 (2.75 mm), F/5 (3.75 mm), G/6 (4 mm), H/8 (5 mm), I/9 (5.5 mm), J/10 (6 mm), and K/101-2 (6.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Contrasting smooth scrap yarn for markers (m).
