Description

I remember taking a flower as a child and picking off the petals to determine whether or not a boy was interested in me. He loves me, he loves me not - of course we all know what we wanted to land on at the last petal! This shawl was inspired by those happy childhood memories. I worked through the back loops on the shawl to create an edging with rows and rows of tiny flower petals. When I look at all of them dangling from the edges, I think about touching each one and reciting those words again.
