Winter 2013 Interweave Crochet Digital Magazine Review by Ruth S

I decided to review this issue to point out that this issue has a really good article in it in addition to all the patterns - and article, which to me is relevant right now and I was wondering about! The "Beyond The Basics" article in this issue is about both converting a Cardigan Sweater to a Pullover Sweater and vice versa - and it covers both Piece Construction Sweaters and Top-Down Construction Sweaters. Makes the whole issue worthwhile - in addition to some really good patterns - especially pullover sweaters!!!

I decided to review this for a specific reason - it has an article in it that I have been looking for. It is true that this issue is full of sweaters and I like to make sweaters - including a bunch of pullovers - but if you look closely you will see it has an article about either converting a Cardigan to a Pullover or visa versa - and in 2 different constructions: top-down construction and piece construction. It answers basic questions for both scenarios!! It is the "Beyond the Basics" section of this Issue - article by Linda Permann. Makes the whole Issue worth it for me!!
