Perfect for draping around your neck or using as a stealthy disguise, this bandit combines shells and filet-crochet technique.

Finished Size: About 58" wide and 21" long. 
Yarn: Lorna’s Laces Helen’s Lace (50% silk, 50% wool, 1250 yd [1,143 m]/4 oz [113 g],): #608 ashburn; 1 skein. Note: One shawl takes about 460 yards of yarn to complete.   
Yarn Weight: #1 - Super Fine   
Hook: Size D/3 (3.25 mm): Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.       
Notions: St marker (m); yarn needle; T-pins and blocking board.    
Gauge: First 10 rows of patt = 11" wide and 41⁄4" from center top to bottom point, blocked. To make a gauge swatch, work patt through Row 12; block and measure.
