When Designer Amy O'Neill Houck's son was a toddler, she found most baby blankets to be too big for a car seat or stroller. She designed this blanket to fit nicely without hanging off the edge of a seat or getting caught in stroller wheels. Worked from the center out with corner increases, the blanket's final dimensions are determined by the length of the foundation chain. Modified filet crochet rounds add textural interest to the multicolored stripe pattern.
