Superb Review by Pam

This is an enjoyable and informative class. J.C. Briar is personable and well organized and teaches in a clear, logical, understandable manner. I was amazed at the process of discovery in this class, because I really had no idea there was so much valuable information in a knitting chart. I’ve never used them much, and now I realize it’s because I didn’t truly recognize all the useful information that was in them and how the charts could be used. One thing I appreciated was that J.C. used a lot of examples to illustrate what she was saying. For each thing she explained, she whipped out a chart that showed exactly what she meant. It’s just an excellent course in every respect, and one that I’m so glad I took. My knitting expertise rose a couple of notches as a result.

This is a terrific class. J.C. Briar is very well organized, personable, and above all, she knows how to make what she is teaching entirely understandable to everyone. She explains things in a logical, step-by-step manner with lots of examples to show you what she means, and she teaches at the appropriate pace so you're neither bored nor lost. I really had no idea how much information I could get from a chart until I took this class. This is a really well taught, worthwhile class, and I enjoyed it. It was a process of discovery, as J.C. pointed out the mysteries of charts and how they could be used. Highly recommended.
