It's all about laceweight yarns on this episode of Knitting Daily TV. Join host Eunny Jang and experts Kristin Omdahl and Clara Parkes as they explore making the most out of skinny yarns.

Getting Started:
Eunny demonstrates how to get larger gauge with laceweight yarns on this episode's Getting Started segment. Learn how to find your perfect gauge by choosing the right needles.

Knitalong - Wheeled Lace Shawl, Part 1:
Eunny joins up with knitwear designer Kristin Omdahl for this season's second knitalong, this time for the Wheeled Lace Shawl pattern. Knit along with Kristin for this delicate, triangular, open lace shawl. It's a relatively fast lace shawl to knit because of the openwork, and then it's finished off with a fun, unique edging. On this episode, Kristin will show you how to cast-on for the lace motif.

Yarn Spotlight:
Clara Parkes joins up with Eunny in the knitting lab for a new take on luxury yarns, possum. This unique yarn has an interesting tale, and Clara explains how and why this yarn is on the market, as well as it's strong characteristics for knitting. Featured here is the Kauri yarn, from Zealana, which is available in two different weights.

Quick Tip:
Eunny finishes this episode with one more quick tip for lace yarns and demonstrates a quick bind-off method perfect for lacework because of it's stretchy edge.

not what I expected Review by Ruta

I thought this would be a more detailed video on how to actually do some lace knitting but it was more a review on how to start, how to end without much of how to read the stitches you've actually made . . and then a look at some yarn. Glad it was on sale and I didn't spend a lot of money.
