With the Knitting Seamless Colorwork with Courtney Kelley and Kate Gagnon Osborn workshop, you'll:

  • Discuss traditional Fair Isle techniques and explore Fair Isle knitting in the Bristish Isles, the history of the Icelandic yoke pullover, Selbu and Bohus knitting, and more.
  • Learn to knit projects using historical techniques, such as how to tack long floats, purling in Fair Isle, and how the choices you make can affect the overall designs.
  • See projects for each demonstration that celebrates both the historical past of the needle arts but is classic or contemporary enough for today's fashions.

Very useful video for knitters new to Stranded Knitting Review by Kate Mcdaniel

While the information in this video is very well done and the presenters very well prepared, I found myself often saying, "Eunny Jang already covered this information on Knitting Daily..." I watch Knitting Daily as often as I can, and I had already picked up all but one of the techniques demonstrated in this video directly from that show. Again, I found this a very useful video for anyone who has no idea how to start knitting Fair Isle or Stranded Knitting in the round, but it is not appropriate for anyone who already has experience in this area.
