Two trees stand out in high relief on the body of this jaunty fedora. Bulky wool gives warmth and structure.
Finished Size: 19½" circumference and 4¾" high.
Yarn: Brown Sheep Company Lamb's Pride Bulky (85% wool, 15% mohair; 125 yd [114 m]/4 oz [113 g]): #M-80 blue blood red, 1 skein.
Yarn Weight: #5 - Bulky
Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rnds = 4" in St st.

Don't be fooled - it's not a fedora Review by Anna

This is really a bucket hat, not a fedora. The top is circular, rather than the oval or egg shape you'd need for a true fedora.

Aside from that, it's a pretty good pattern - just be aware you need either a doubled yarn (I used Colinette Hullabaloo doubled) or a REALLY bulky yarn, squished down on small needles, to get the firmness for the hat. Hard on the hands.

Cute leaves though, and it's a cute hat. Just not a fedora.
