Informative Book Review by Kathryn
Rating

Deborah Chandler's book, Learning to Weave, is just as informative now as it was when first published. I'm glad this helpful weaving book has been updated and reprinted in recent years. The illustrations are clear and the photographs are well-done although it would have been nice if the photographs had been printed in color instead of black and white. This will be a useful addition to my weaving library.

Absolutely the best Review by Jill M Lyon

I taught myself to weave nearly 20 years ago using Deborah's book (the previous edition) -- it is clearly written, easily understandable and the projects included will teach you basic concepts and structures that will provide a sound foundation for any weaving adventure you launch in the future. I was privileged to take a class from Deborah some years ago -- she is practical and extremely helpful while keeping the process fun, and her book reflects this. It's the best text to start with and to revisit when you need a refresher.
