Wrong stringing material for crystals Review by Kathy
Rating

This is a beautiful looking design, but I question the recommendation to use nylon thread in "D" weight with crystal bicone beads. The sharp edges of the crystals are notorious for cutting through "thread" of this type. Yes, you can wax it, but then the wax inevitably gets on the crystals, including inside the bead holes, where it is impossible to remove/clean, and ends up dulling the sparkle of the crystals…and your thread still cuts eventually. Does the pattern require so many thread passes that Fireline 6lb test (a much better choice for working with crystals) won't fit through the bead holes?

VERY ADDICTIVE Review by Phyllis
Rating

I found the rhythm of this pattern very addictive; I've made it three times ii three evenings, changing the color scheme each time. It is prettier than the picture suggests and instructions are very clear. I found I could listen to my audiobook and do this pattern at the same time. Very relaxing.
