The Marian Tunic embellishes an easy, flowing kimono shape with lace insertions and allover openwork. Knitted from the midline out in one piece and folded over the shoulder line, the kimono's sideways openwork structure gives dolman sleeves flowing lightness.

Finished Size: 48 (51, 56, 59, 64, 67)" bust circumference. Tunic shown measures 48", modeled with plenty of ease.

Yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh Lace (100% merino wool; 950 yd [869 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): chamomile, 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins.

Needles: Bands—size 2 (2.75 mm). Body and sleeves—size 6 (4 mm): 32" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Stitch holders; tapestry needle; removable markers; smooth waste yarn in contrasting color (for blocking).
