Required Materials:

  • 25 gram package of low-fire silver metal clay, such as PMC32
  • 2 flaw-free diamonds 0.10 carat or less each
  • 2 moonstone beads 4mm in diameter
  • 6" of 20-gauge sterling silver wire
  • 2 sterling silver 24-gauge ball headpins 2" long
  • Medium wire solder and flux
  • Denatured alcohol and cotton
  • swab

Technique:  Metal Clay

Tools: Dapping mandrel, vise or clamp, bead mat, magnification visor, fine-tipped tweezers, small sheet of foil, kitchen oven, x-acto knife, 3M sanding sponges, brass brush, metal clay set up, blazer torch charged with butane gas, pickle, solder pick
