Description
The silk and bamboo yarn creates a fabric that embraces the body for an elegant dress perfect for a luncheon or an afternoon wedding. The dress is worked vertically, for a long, lean look, with short rows and godets that flare the hem for a gratifying swirl when dancing.

Finished Size: 24 (27 1/2, 28, 32)" bust circumference to fit 31 (34, 37, 40)" bust. Garment shown measures 27 1⁄2" and is modeled with 5 " negative ease.
Yarn: Vickie Howell Collection Love (30% silk, 70% bamboo; 98 yd [90 m]/1 3⁄4 oz [50 g]; ): #257 Andrew & Sam, 11 (11, 12, 12) skeins. Yarn distributed by South West Trading Company.
Yarn weight: #3 - Light
Gauge: 18 sts and 14 rows = 4" in twin ribbing patt with larger hook, unblocked; 20 sts and 16 rows = 4" in twin ribbing patt with smaller hook, unblocked.
Hook: Size G/6 (4 mm) for sizes 29 (32)" or H/8 (5 mm) for sizes 35 (38)". Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: 1 button (23 mm or preferred size); yarn needle.
