My 2014 Goal:

"This year I have several goals that I want to complete. First, I want to make a tailored jacket from a pattern my mother cut out in the 1980s. Big shoulder pads and all!

Then I want to take another patternmaking class for my patternmaking certificate.

Finally, I want to do some sort of crafting everyday!"

Make this your goal!

My 2014 Goal:

"My sewing goal for 2014 is to make my first king-size quilt. I've done many crib and lap quilts, but have never made a large quilt before.

I also realized recently I've never actually made a quilt for myself, as each has been a gift for friends or family. Last summer, my husband and I moved into a new home, and I decided it was time for me to make us a quilt for our king bed.

This fall, I began collecting fat quarters and a half yard here and there of batik fabrics. I've got a nice collection now, and just need to start cutting out blocks! My goal is to finish the quilt by May 1."

Make this your goal!
