In just a handful of hours, you can make a brass cuff transform from simple into a masterpiece. Drill, oxidize, etch, and wire-wrap the material for this cuff and before you know it you’ll be wearing it out for a night on the town. Here’s a tip: If you want to add texture to the brass cuff, use lower grit sandpaper when cleaning the metal for etching.
Required Materials: 2 white 9mm potato pearls, 2 yellow topaz 8mm faceted rounds, 1 brass ½" wide cuff, 1 gunmetal 18-gauge 10mm jump ring, 6" of 20-gauge gunmetal wire, and 6" of 18-gauge gunmetal wire.
Tools Needed: Baking soda, 2 plastic containers, glass container with lid, ½" thick block of wood, protective eyewear, and rubber gloves.
