This quilting pattern was designed and created by Lisa Chin, and featured in Modern Patchwork 2012. "In the past, when I would pack up for an outdoor concert, my routine was to ponder which of my quilts was oldest or would sustain the least damage being used on the ground. I finally decided it was time to create a simple, durable outdoor concert quilt just right for two. This quilt has two inside pockets to carry cups and a beverage, as well as an outside pocket for tickets, car keys, and a little cash. The top of the quilt is an easy pattern that showcases designer fabrics, while the back is made from durable, waterproof oilcloth, eliminating the dreaded wet bottom issues of an outdoor venue. Once folded in half, the quilt can be rolled up (with the bottle and cups inside their handy pockets) and tied into an easy-to-carry 'bag.'"
