A pair of wise owls adorn these adorable legwarmers. With simple shaping at the knee and ankle, the leg portion provides a perfect canvas for practicing intarsia in the round.
Finished Size: About 11½ (13½)" (29 [34.5 cm]) circumference and 14 (18)" (35.5 [45.5 cm]) long. To fit a child (woman). Shown in larger size.
Yarn: DK weight (Light #3). Shown here: Debbie Macomber Blossom Street Collection Rosebud.
Yarn Weight: #3 - Light
Needles: U.S. size 4 (3.5 mm) doublepointed (dpn), or needle(s) for your preferred method of working in the round. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m, optional); chenille needle (or other sewing needle with large eye and sharp tip).
Gauge: 25 sts and 33 rnds = 4" (10 cm) in St st worked in rounds.

Instructions incomplete Review by Eleanor

The pattern calls for using the Intarsia in the Round technique, without giving instructions on how to do this. Very disappointing. There is an option to make these flat, but I prefer not to do that.
