In this issue we are thrilled with the roster of authors who have joined us to bring you articles of inspiration and encouragement.  If you are new to wearable art, make sure to read Rosalie Cooke's article on some of the independent companies that inspire unique garments.  Or read about Karen Boutte, an accomplished wearable artist and our artist in profile who celebrates a wide range of styles and techniques.  Sand Jandik shares samples of her stunning shisha embroidery and divulges her secrets on how she created them.  Rosemary Eichorn illustrates her fabric collage method (one of Pokey's favorite methods for embellishment), that's both fun and terrific for creating art quilts and wearables.  Or if you would like to create new fabric designs, read Carla Peery's article on emulating motifs with stencils and fabric paints.  Raku bottons, achieving drape in garments, demystifying the herringbone stitch, there something for every in this issues.  Lastly, our artists' gallery to see what readers have been creating.
