When the designer melded the raccoon fur coats of the 1920s with the short jackets of the 1950s, the result was this perky little cover-up. To pull it off without any unkindness to animals, she combined two faux-fur novelty yarns: Funny and Funny Luxury. The jacket body is cleverly worked in two pieces-each from the center front to the center back and composed of striped panels that are shaped with short rows. The sleeves are worked from the cuff upward and are also shaped with short rows. The fold-over collar is worked last.
