Description
Worked out of a yarn that combines wool with bits of colorful silk, these fun accessories span the gap between rugged and elegant. The socks are worked from the toe upward to the ruffle; the heel and toe are worked according to Priscilla Gibson-Robert's short-row technique (described in detail in the Fall 2000 issue of Interweave Knits). The mitts feature a ruffle at the wrist and a side-seam thumb gusset.
