In the Winter 2011 issue of Interweave Crochet, we gave you the fundamentals for crocheting socks, including a recipe for a Basic Cuff -Down Sock, along with size charts and tips for yarn selection. In this issue, we give you a recipe for Basic Toe-Up Socks and the basics for crocheting your own custom socks.
Finished Size: 7 (8, 9)" foot circumference, to fi t narrow (medium, wide) foot. 8½ (8¾, 9¼, 9½)" length, to fit women’s size 6 (7, 8, 9).

Size E (3.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
