Description

This cute knitted shrug is worked from one side to the other in a lace and garter stitch patterning. The body is worked in garter stitch, with simple lace accents for the collar and skirt.

Finished Size: 26 (27 1⁄2, 28 3⁄4)" wide from cuff to cuff and 281⁄4 (29 1⁄2, 33 1⁄2)" long from top of collar to bottom of back. Shrug shown measures 26". 
Yarn: Schoppel Wolle IN Silk (75% merino, 25% silk; 219 yd [200 m]/100 g): #3681 purple, 3 (4, 4) skeins. Yarn distributed by Skacel. 
Yarn weight: #4 - Medium  
Gauge: 15 sts and 28 rows = 4" in garter st.
Needles:  Size 8 (5 mm): 24" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. 
Notions: Size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook; markers (m); tapestry needle.

Row 7 = complete fail disaster. I can't make any sense out of the printed instructions. It's rubbish.

Note to designers: do not attempt to verbally "explain" some obscure technique that apparently does not have a name. If your pet technique has a name, then for the love of all things holy TELL us the name so we can go learn it from YouTube or some kindly smart person who knows better than to try to explain it. If it doesn't have a name, then don't. Just don't.
