  • Sewing machine
  • Staz-on® ink (Saddle Brown, or your favorite color)
  • Rubber stamps (deeply etched)
  • 3 Disposable bowls or cups
  • Paper towels
  • Muslin, Natural (1 yard)
  • Organza (1 yard), sheer white or cream
  • Tulle (1 yard in a accent color)
  • 100-percent cotton scrim (1 yard), or cheesecloth (1 package)
  • Wool felt: 1 yard
  • Poly-fil®
  • Decorative trim (at lest 10" to embellish top half of door)
  • Small elements to capture/trap, such as ribbons, keys, buttons, beads, jewelry bits, trim, small sticks, shells or rocks, etc.
  • Threads, quilting and embroidery (colors to complement your palette)
  • Needles, beading, yarn darners, embroidery
  • Craft or quilting pins (to hold layers together for sewing)
  • Scissors
  • Ruler

I was very impressed with this workshop. Ruth takes you step by step through the different parts of making these. She is clear and concise and does not leave you wondering what you are supposed to do. I think out of all the videos I have purchased that it rates highly.
