Worked with yarn held double and a larger hook, it will hold baguettes or crochet projects as well.

Finished Size: About 8" wide and 12" tall.     
Yarn: Filatura di Crosa Millefi li Fine (100% mercerized cotton; 137yd [125 m]/13⁄4 oz [50 g]; ): # 298 giallo, 2 balls. Yarn distributed by Tahki Stacy Charles.      
Yarn Weight: #3 - Light 
Hook: Size D (3.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.     
Notions: St markers (m); yarn needle; about 1⁄4 yd fabric for lining; 61⁄2' (2 m) of twisted satin cord (optional).    
Gauge: Rnds 1–13 = 4" diameter circle in base patt. 31 sts and 16 rows = 4" in lace patt. Gauge is not critical for this project.
