Description

AMANDA SCHEUZGER designed the STEEKED EARFLAP HAT to serve as an introduction to steeking. A small piece of colorwork is knitted in the round, with decreases to give it a slightly triangular shape. Once cut apart, this becomes the earflaps, and the hat is worked up from the brim.
