Nice book to look at, but not for beginners Review by Doodles
Rating

The title is misleading: there were no demonstrations for making a stencil. This book primarily illustrates how one can use stencils. I was disappointed with this book because I wanted to learn how to make a stencil - what materials are necessary (acetate? cardboard? knife? scissor?), how to design a successful stencil (thickness of lines, connectivity of parts?) and to see a step by step tutorial for it. So, while it is a lovely book visually, it falls way short for beginners such as myself.
