Weakest video I've ordered Review by Gary
Rating

When I saw the ad for this video, I was excited to learn the techniques and see how it is done. I've come to expect a great deal of information in almost all of my orders. This video seemed like Mr. Boyd was in a real hurry to get done with this project. The bezel portion could have been more thorough. Unfortunately,I feel this is the weakest of all my jewelry videos.

Beginner to intermediate only Review by William
Rating

I was somewhat disappointed in this video overall. The description given led me to believe that it would be great for even advanced artist like myself. What I found in the video was only very basic and I mean basic stone setting and bezel making instructions.

The video actually seemed to rush thru the bezel making part, and only described and demonstrated one stone on stone setting technique, which in itself was extremely basic.

In future descriptions, it would be great if the seller would rate the video, beginner, intermediate, or advanced, like so many other quality videos do. A description of the video content would also be helpful, because I found this video very short and very limited in scope.

This video is fantastic. I felt I got my money's worth in the first 15 minutes with a different take on soldering bezels that I had not seen before and will incorporate into my work.

All of this can be done with equipment I already own. Michael explains and demonstrates thoroughly. It is easy to understand and follow the steps. I feel I can walk into my studio and replicate the steps after watching the first time. Excellent instructor and excellent video. Highly recommended.
