Change is not always good Review by Anne_D
Rating

This is not the Studios I loved; change is not always a good thing. I enjoy the vignettes, and looking at studios, and sometimes get ideas for my own little space. "Get the look" isn't something I care for.

New format scraps more than it adds Review by Fran
Rating

I have been an avid follower of Studio's since the very first issue, but am a bit disappointed by the new format: I miss the vignettes and find the slightly gothic black typography on the matt paper less attractive (and strangely old fashioned looking). The 'get the look' (ie copy some one else's studio) adds very little compared to what has been removed. Studio's used to offer what other magazines didn't: a look into people's studios and how they work in them. Shop reviews and profiles that are more about the artist than their space are plentiful in other publications. A change of direction is always tricky, so I hope the editors will consider the feedback from their customers and reconsider their decision to scrap much of what has always made studio's unique.

Love the mag but dissappointed Review by Christine

I love this magazine, but am a bit disappointed in the new format. I enjoyed looking at pictures of all the different studios in the vignettes.
