an absolute pleasure to watch Review by Rose
    Rating

Lyric is a very good instructor. She speaks clearly. Her techniques are well explained. I will continue to seek all her books and her new video on beading. In this dvd Lyric is pretty young. I have to say she definitely knew her stuff back then and just continue to improve with time.

Great workshop for beginners Review by Debbie Keahey

This is a really well-made workshop video. Lyric is very clear in her directions, easy to follow, and has a pleasant on-screen manner. Aside from a few camera mis-cues toward the end, the camera work is crisp and clear, with adequate close-ups. As an experienced technique-junkie, I didn't find anything new in the surface design techniques covered, but for someone new to the topic this is a good introduction to many of the basics. I particularly enjoyed the last segment where Lyric shows how to use your unique fabrics to create book covers (she has a neat design for this) and borderless art quilts (again a good technique for finishing them).
