Sweet Message Lavendar Sachet

This message-filled sachet is a heartfelt treat to place upon a house guest’s pillow, a “thank you” trinket to leave behind after a weekend visit, and a special way to sharespecial words.
Here is a simple introduction to creating your own textiles using freezerpaper, an iron, and an inkjet printer. After printing the fabric, a rectangle is quicklystitched into a pretty pyramid shape and is ready to fill with fragrant lavender.
FABRIC(Makes 2)— 9" × 9" square of aqua dupioni silk— Two 1" × 4" scraps of gold dupionisilk for contrast tabsNOTE: A light- to medium-weight,solid cotton, linen, or natural-fiberblend would also work well.
OTHER SUPPLIES— Graphic/type image— Sewing thread to match fabric colors— Rotary cutter, acrylic ruler, and selfhealingmat— Handsewing needle— Freezer paper, 8" × 8" piece— Ink jet printer— Small funnel (can be made out ofpaper)— Approximately 8 grams of lavenderfor each sachet
