About the Author
Simona Merchant-Dest has over 28 years of experience in knitting and crochet. She has worked as a designer and project coordinator for Mission Falls Yarns and has contributed patterns to Interweave Knits and Interweave Crochet as well as numerous other popular craft books and magazines.

Faina Goberstein is a full-time professor of mathematics in Chico, California. A knitwear designer for over 45 years, she has hadpatterns featured in Interweave Knits, Knitscene, Interweave Crochet, and a variety of books. She also designs patterns for Bijou Basin Ranch, Cascade Yarns, Manos del Uruguay, and Claudia Handpainted Yarns.
