Customer Reviews

Great book! Review by Kathy Hunter

I purchased this book for my 12 year old grandson, who had been interested in whittling for about 4 years. He had been whittling sticks into simple items, i.e. back scratchers, knives, etc. prior to this. As he reviewed the projects outlined in this book, he began to make plans to complete different projects and set out to find just the right size of wood. During the 5 days of vacation that he worked on whittling, he was able to follow the directions easily and completed multiple items, which he showed off with pride. Admittedly, he had to take a day off to rest his sore fingers, since he spent so much time concentrating on the whittling process. He expressed how much he loved the book. I found it well worth the purchase price. Thanks for offering such a great and informative book.
