Cindy takes you on a journey of wire magic. Whether you are a beginner or a master of wire wrangling, The Missing Link does not disappoint. You can’t help but be inspired to grab a spool of wire and a pair of pliers (which I did as I read the book cover to cover). Cindy describes the various types of wire, the best tools you need, and the basic techniques for working with wire. You are hooked after reading the instructions for the first Link, the Bow-Tie. Like a good novel, you want to read more. The instructions are clear and to the point with extra tips sprinkled throughout. The step-out photos zoom in on the details, preciously and clearly. Overall each Link’s samples are beautifully photographed; some even feature Cindy’s own antiques. The inspiration does not end with the 30 wire Links instructions. The 15 projects created by Cindy and a wonderful group of contributing designers, show how the Links can be incorporated in a variety of design styles. It’s hard to imagine these designs without their beautiful Links.
This book will never gather dust on my library shelf. Thank you Cindy for creating and sharing these Missing Links!
Dear Interweave, Thank you for publishing a beautiful book that is destined to become a classic.
Thank you ~ for not skimping on the number of pages and the larger footprint; for a font size and line spacing that does not require a magnifying glass; for the selection of font colors, not some shade of gray or other color that disappears into the background or photo rendering the words unreadable; for not just reprinting the technique/tool pages from a prior published book; for using some of Cindy’s beautiful photography; for the clear close up step-out photos (although a few Links need an extra photo or two).
Lastly, thank you for recognizing Cindy’s talents. Kudos to Marlene Blessing and her team.

- Beautiful Book With Great Information Review by Ann S.
I bought both the e-book and paper book. I love having both. The book (e or paper) is beautiful with large, clear photos worthy of any coffee table book. Even if I never make one link, I'm still glad I bought this. However, I know I will use the instructions. They are so clearly written with step-by-step accompanying pictures. Whether written instructions work for you or you are more of a visual learner, this book will work for you.
The 30 links are in three sections - easy, moderate, more challenging. How wonderful to have something for every skill level! This book will be challenging me for years to come. The projects using the links, contributed by the author and other talented artists, are gorgeous, one after the other. With the mix of styles and variety of techniques, you are sure to find some to suit you. I like them all!
I couldn't be more excited about this book, and highly recommend it if you are interested in learning more about wire work. You can learn the basics about different kinds and characteristics of wire, how to oxidize and work harden, and how to use it to make beautiful links that will make your jewelry shine!

- Awesome! Review by rivana
What a gorgeous book. But not just eye-candy and then put it back on the shelf. A very useful book to help you create unique links to compliment your personal style. I ordered it as an ebook but I think I need a paperback copy as I want to have this by my workbench! This will take my work to the next level for sure.

I purchased the downloadable version of this AWESOME 162-page ebook yesterday and finally just now had a chance to look through it during my lunch break.
Thank you so much for this absolutely amazing book, Cindy Wimmer! I absolutely cannot wait to start learning how to make some (most/all) of the links in this book! Very well-written also. Thanks again!
