This designer discovered the primitive colorwork motifs for this sweater - an animal figure, a flower, and a snowflake set within an allover trellis background - in a 1960s knitting magazine. By combining the motifs with brown and beige wool-camel hair yarn, which has a bit of an old-fashioned effect, and a roomy silhouette, which is contemporary, she created an up-to-date sweater with a vintage fashion feeling.
