The vest is worked in one piece without seams from the hem up to the shoulder straps; the straps are grafted using the Kitchener Stitch and then the garter-stitch trim is worked circularly onto the neck and armhole openings. *Due to copyright restrictions this pattern is only available for purchase in the United States. Yarn: Brooklyn Tweed Loft, 100% American wool yarn, fingering weight, 275 yards (251.5 m)/50 gram (1.8 oz) skein, 4 (5, 6) skeins of #15
Needles: Circular, 24 inches (61.0 cm), size 3 (3.25 mm) and size 1 (2.25 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Stitch markers, 4; tapestry needle; stitch holder
Gauge: 26 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches (10.2 cm) in St st on larger needles; 26 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches (10.2 cm) in Totem Pole Lace patt on larger needles
